Good bye 2009!

Ahhh! I new year!

2009 was a great year in many ways. However, I will not miss it at all!
Really our transition in life has come since we've been going to our new church. And even though we have had several challenges, we always come out on top!

Let's see....2009 in review....

So many positives...
We have so much to be thankful for! We have a strong family, a wonderful church, and a thriving business that is such a blessing! We have learned so much since attending our new church and have truly been blessed by the love of our new church family.

In closing 2009 and looking back on the year I was reminded of the faithfulness of our loving creator. JD and I are so thankful that God always looks out for us and makes sure we are well taken care of. I know so many people who have been through the things we have and are totally lost. Yet, in everything we have endeavored to keep our eyes on Jesus and not look to the right or left. And man...it has paid off!!!

As we closed out 2009, we set several goals for ourselves. And most of them being extremely practical, and we are so excited to begin work on them and see them through to completion!

What does our 2010 look like? Well, I am glad you asked.....

We are starting off the year counting down the days until our 2nd little bundle of joy, Bella Reese, arrives! She is scheduled to be here on February 15th, although, if you ask me she will be making an appearance before then.

Jenna started nursery school on the 15th (last Friday) and she will be attending 2 days a week! It's really great for her because with us being home all day everyday she is starting to get bored, and definitely needs some kid interaction. I know she's going to have a blast!

We were asked in December to be the new directors of the children's ministry on Wednesday nights at our church for 2010. JD heads up "W.O.L.F." (Warriors of Living Faith) and I head up "Daughters of Faith." We are so excited to be involved in ministry again! The kids are really a blast and it's such a good challenge for us. It's really exciting to see JD being able to have a ministry outlet again. He has such a heart for young people and thrives when he gets a chance to share and minister to them. It's funny being the "old people" and relating to "kids today." I am constantly amazed at the difference between kids now and when I was their age.

So along with raising up a wonderful family, getting more involved at church, and the constant demand of owning our own business. You know me all too well to know I would just be sitting around letting my house be the same...of course I have more ideas!
We will be remodeling the kitchen hopefully by May and also our bedroom! I will of course keep you updated on the process.....

Well, I have so much more to say. But it's super late and I just about hit the "save now" button. So I figure...instead of letting this become another draft. I will post it and write again later!

Gnight!

I'll take that award....

I definitely deserve the worst blogger ever award! It's sad, I know...
SO much has changed since my last post. And we are 35 weeks pregnant now!!!
I will try to be a better blogger, but I am not making any promises.

I figure if I just sit down once a week I can do this....
I know it's the primary way several of you get info on us, and I am sorry I am letting you down.
In all honesty, I have written several blogs, but they are all in my drafts folder...OOPS!

SO here goes....enjoy my following random blogs!
